Tween Programs
These library programs are designed for the library's tween readers in grades 4-6.
*Tween Programming will take place IN-PERSON unless otherwise noted. Please view the program description below for more information. All programs are subject to change.*
"Love 'Fore' Your Library" Mini Golf Fundraiser
Friday, September 29th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the Library
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per household (cash or check only)
Mark your calendar for a super fun event for all ages! We will have 9 holes of mini golf set up in the library and food will be available for purchase from The Blue Line Grille. Tickets to book your tee time are available at the Library's front desk for $5 per person or $20 per household (cash or check only).

This event is sponsored by the South Park Board of Supervisors & Township Manager, Friends of the South Park Township Library, The Blue Line Grille, South Park Women's Club, Sunset Golf, Lire Jackson & Gary Smith for S.P. School Board, South Park Lions Club, and Patriot Pest Control.
All proceeds benefit the Library!
Dog Man Book Club for Tweens
Monday, October 2nd at 6:00pm
Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to join our Dog Man Book Club. Join us on the first Monday of every month where we will discuss the Dog Man series while enjoying snacks as well as crafts and activities based on the book series! We will be reading the first book in the series, Dog Man for our first meeting. Participants should read or listen to the book prior to the book club meeting. If you do not finish the entire book, you can still come to the event. Participants are also encouraged to bring at least two questions or ideas that they would like to discuss with the group. Banned Books Week: Tween Blackout Poetry
Tuesday, October 3rd at 4:30pm
Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to our blackout poetry event for Banned Books Week! Join us at the library to create a unique blackout poem using upcycled books and magazines! All supplies are provided. Come express your creativity through blackout poetry and learn about censorship! This is a drop-in program so feel free to stop by the library at the time that is best for you to complete the craft. If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
Tween Craft - Creepy Slime
Wednesday, October 11th at 4:30pm
Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to the library to create your own creepy slime to take home! All supplies provided. If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
Tween Choice Book Club
Wednesday, October 18th at 6:00pm
Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to our Tween Choice Book Club meeting! We have snacks and drinks and discuss our book! Participants who join our book club will be able to select a book for the group to read based on their own interests! Each participant’s book selection forms our tween choice book club reading list. Tween Craft: Haunted Gingerbread House
Wednesday, October 25th at 4:30pm
Tweens going into grades 4-6 are invited to the library to create their own Haunted Gingerbread House! All materials will be provided. Create a spectacular haunted gingerbread house to help celebrate the Halloween season! If you are interested in attending, please register online here.
Tween Craft: Día de Los Muertos Celebration
Thursday, November 2nd at 6:00pm
In the Community Center
Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to our Día de los Muertos Celebration! Join us at the Community Center for food and crafts such as decorating sugar skulls and making paper flowers!
