These library programs are designed for the library's tween readers in grades 4-6.

"I Survived" Book Club for Tweens
Monday, January 6th at 6:00pm
Calling all fans of the "I Survived" series! Tweens ages 10-12 are invited to join our I Survived Book Club. Join us on the first Monday of every month where we will delve into a different book from the series while enjoying snacks as well as crafts and activities based on the book selection! We will be reading "I Survived the Shark Attacks of 1916" by Lauren Tarshis for our meeting. Join us as we talk about the book and make ocean slime! All materials provided. Participants should read or listen to the book prior to the book club meeting. If you do not finish the entire book, you are still welcome to attend the event. Tween and Teen Activity: Winter Slime
Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Tweens and Teens come and unleash your creativity this winter at the library as you make your very own Winter Slime! Slime-making materials will be provided. This is a drop-in program so feel free to stop by the library at the time that is best for you to complete the craft! Please allow yourself plenty of time to complete the activity when you arrive. Please note that the South Park Library’s programs are designed with specific age limits in mind to align with the developmental skills and needs of each age group, ensuring an appropriate and engaging environment for all participants. This event is exclusively for tweens and teens aged 10 to 18.
