Tween Brickmaster Lego Club
Thursday, February 27th at 6:00pm
Calling all Tweens (ages 10-12)! Join us for Tween Brickmasters, our NEW Tween Lego Club where creativity meets fun! Each month, we’ll tackle a build challenge, enjoy snacks, and let our imaginations run wild. This month’s challenge is to combine everyone’s individual builds into one spectacular creation. LEGOS are provided, so just bring your creativity! Come by the library and put your building skills to the test by creating awesome Lego masterpieces! Teen and Tween Take-Home Kit: Calming and Creating
Kits will be available beginning Saturday March 1st
Tweens and Teens are invited to the library to pick up a take-home Calming & Creating kit in celebration of World Teen Mental Wellness Day! Each kit includes a mini puzzle, a variety of fidget tools, a package of Duncan Hines Mega Cookie Double Chocolate Chunk Pan Cookie Mix, and a resource list. This kit provides engaging activities to support your mental health, enhance mindfulness, and foster creativity. It also offers information and resources to help connect you with various services and organizations that provide support for teens. Kits will be available for pickup starting March 1st and can be collected throughout the month. Registration is required and will be open throughout March until all kits are reserved. "I Survived" Book Club for Tweens
Monday, March 3rd at 6:00pm
Calling all fans of the "I Survived" series! Tweens ages 10-12 are invited to join our I Survived Book Club. Join us on the first Monday of every month where we will delve into a different book from the series while enjoying snacks as well as crafts and activities based on the book selection! We will be reading "I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863" by Lauren Tarshis for our meeting. Join us as we discuss the book, watch fascinating historical footage of the aftermath, and participate in an exciting earthquake challenge using just toothpicks and marshmallows! All materials provided. Participants should read or listen to the book prior to the book club meeting. If you do not finish the entire book, you are still welcome to attend the event. Tween & Teen Activity: Dr. Seuss Truffula Tree Cake Pops
Thursday, March 6th at 6:00pm
Join us at the library to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and Read Across America! Tweens and Teens (ages 10-18) are invited to embark on a creative adventure as we craft delicious cake pops inspired by the Truffula Trees from Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax. Pokémon Young Trainers: Tween Pokémon Club

Attention Pokémon Trainers! It's time to "catch 'em all" at our Tween Pokémon Club! Join us on the last Wednesday of every month to dive into the world of Pokémon. Chat with fellow enthusiasts, play games, enjoy snacks, and make new friends. Whether you bring your cards, games, or mobile device, or borrow one of our decks, there’s fun waiting for everyone!
