These library programs are designed for the library's teenage readers from grades 6-12 and tween readers in grades 4-6.

Dungeons and Dragons Club for Teens

2023 TEEN/TWEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Teens and tweens are invited to participate in this year's Summer Reading Program from Wednesday, June 14th - Wednesday, August 9th! Anyone that participates in summer reading and attends the Teen/Tween Summer Reading wrap up will have a chance to win a prize and be entered to win the grand prize of a 64 GB 9th generation iPad. In addition, teens/tweens will have the chance to win one of five $100 gift card from Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) that will be awarded at the end of summer.

Teens going into grades 7-12 are invited to the library to attend the Carnegie Science Center’s program World in Motion which explores what is in motion in our solar system. Using an HD projector and an inflatable dome, this program gives teens a fun, immersive experience! Join the Buhl Planetarium and learn how to recognize a planet in the night sky, and prograde and retrograde planetary motion.
