These library programs are designed for the library's teenage readers in grades 6-12.
*Teen Programming will take place IN-PERSON unless otherwise noted. Please view the program description below for more information. All programs are subject to change.*
"Love 'Fore' Your Library" Mini Golf Fundraiser
Friday, September 29th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the Library
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per household (cash or check only)
Mark your calendar for a super fun event for all ages! We will have 9 holes of mini golf set up in the library and food will be available for purchase from The Blue Line Grille. Tickets to book your tee time are available at the Library's front desk for $5 per person or $20 per household (cash or check only).

POP Panel: How to Play Ticket to Ride
Tuesday, October 3rd at 4:00pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to the library to watch this online POP-Panel hosted by the Video Game Clubs of America (VGCUSA)!
In this POP-Panel, participants will learn how to play the board game Ticket to Ride. The session will all be streamed on the VGCUSA Twitch Channel for anyone to attend on their own devices and follow along. Participants may bring their own devices or use the library’s iPads to watch the streaming session. Please bring earphones if you would like to watch the online streaming session in the library. Come to the library to watch the streaming and eat snacks.

Banned Books Week: Teen Blackout Poetry
Tuesday, October 3rd at 4:30pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to our blackout poetry event for Banned Books Week! Join us at the library to create a unique blackout poem using upcycled books and magazines! All supplies are provided. Come express your creativity through blackout poetry and learn about censorship! Percy Jackson Book Club for Teens
Wednesday, October 4th at 6:00pm
Calling all Percy Jackson fans! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join our Percy Jackson Book Club. Join us on the first Wednesday of every month where we will discuss the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series while enjoying snacks as well as crafts and activities based on the book series! For our first meeting, read the first book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Lightning Thief. Participants should read or listen to the book prior to the book club meeting. If you do not finish the entire book, you can still come to the event. Participants are also encouraged to bring at least two questions or ideas that they would like to discuss with the group. Join us as we make a lightning bottle inspired by the book. This craft is not only fun but also doubles as a sensory bottle! All materials will be provided. Both super fans and new readers are welcome to join us as we dig deep into all five books in the original series! Come by the front desk to get your copy of the book or feel free to bring your own. Teentober: Pumpkin Painting

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to the library during the month of Teen-Tober for exciting activities! To kick off the month of Teen-Tober, teens are invited to welcome the fall season with us by painting small pumpkins! Pumpkins and painting materials provided. Teen Gaming Club - Augmented Reality with Reality Composer
Saturday, October 7th at 10:30am
Teens going into grades 7-12 are invited to join our Teen Gaming Club! For this event, Teen Gaming Club members will use Reality Composer to create Augmented Reality scenes. Reality Composer is an app by Apple that offers an intuitive interface for creating AR experiences. Reality Composer allows users to drag and drop virtual objects, assemble them directly into an AR scene, and animate them. Reality Composer requires no prior experience working with 3D assets, so if you are interested, please sign up online for this program here.
POP Panel: How to Play Sushi Go Party

Teentober: Zombie Barbie
Tuesday, October 17th at 4:30pm
Teens in grades 7-12, are invited to join the zombie Barbie apocalypse and design your own Halloween edition Barbie! We will be using paints and other materials to create super frightening zombie dolls! All materials provided. Teen Board Game Night

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to the Library for our Board Game Night! Play a board game from our selection or feel free to bring your own. Invite your friends for a night of board games and snacks at the library! Join us at the library every third Wednesday for Teen Board Game Night!

Teen Choice Book Club
Thursday, October 19th at 6:00pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to our Teen Choice Book Club meeting! We have snacks and drinks and discuss our book! Participants who join our book club will be able to select a book for the group to read based on their own interests! Each participant’s book selection forms our teen choice book club reading list. Teen Gaming Club - Cosplay with Recyclables

Teens going into grades 7-12 are invited to join our Teen Gaming Club! Are you interested in cosplay or costume creation? The Teen Gaming Club members will learn how to cosplay with recyclables! During this meeting, we will also learn more information about the Everyone Games PA 2023 (EGPA) Event. Please sign up online for this program here.
POP Panel: Learning About the Music Industry
Tuesday, October 24th at 4:00pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to the library to watch this online POP-Panel hosted by the Video Game Clubs of America (VGCUSA)!
In this POP-Panel, participants will learn about the Music Industry with a discussion featuring performing artist Raheem Jarbo also known as Mega Ran! Raheem Jarbo is a former teacher with over five years of experience in the classroom and is a musician with 6 nationally released independent projects, 3 of which have ranked on Billboard's Top 200. Ran’s music has appeared in films, video games (PC-Linux-iPhone game Caster), and television (ABC/NBC News, WWE Wrestling, Portlandia, and more). Participants may bring their own devices or use the library’s iPads to watch the streaming session. Please bring earphones if you would like to watch the online streaming session in the library. Adult/Teen Fall Glue Art
Wednesday, October 25th at 6:00pm
Join us to learn how to make a textured canvas using hot glue and paint. We will have all the supplies you need, but if you have a good glue gun, feel free to bring it! Space is limited. Please sign up online for this craft here.

Teens going into grades 7-12 are invited to the libra ry to create their own Haunted Gingerbread House! All materials will be provided. Teen Event: Día de los Muertos Celebration
Thursday, November 2nd at 6:00pm
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to our Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead Celebration! Join us at the Community Center for food and crafts such as decorating sugar skulls and making paper flowers! All supplies are provided.
