Sign up for our Children’s Programming today!

Check out our exciting children’s programming at the library! These library programs are designed for the library’s youngest readers (up to age 10). Below, you’ll find a list of upcoming children’s events. Click on any program title to view full details and register.

*Children’s Programming will take place IN-PERSON unless otherwise noted. Please view the program description below for more information. All programs are subject to change.

KIDS! TRACK YOUR SUMMER READING WITH BEANSTACK AND WIN PRIZES!

“UNEARTH A STORY” WITH
SOUTH PARK LIBRARY
THIS SUMMER!

June 18th – August 7th

Children are invited to participate in this year’s Summer Reading Program from Thursday, June 18th – Friday, August 7th.

Beginning Thursday, June 18, 2026, children and their families can sign up to Beanstack at
https://carnegiesouth.beanstack.org/reader365.

By signing up to Beanstack, children and their families can earn badges by attending programs and tracking each day that that they read for a chance to win some weekly prizes! Everyone that participates in this year’s summer reading activities and tracks their reading each day will have a chance to win this year’s end-of-summer grand prize!

**The last day to log the days that your child has read and the programs that they attend is Monday, August 17th. We will draw the lucky grand prize winner on Monday, August 17th!**

To sign up to Beanstack with a web browser, please select the “Register an Individual or Family” option to register!* After signing up or logging into Beanstack, select the “South Park Township Library: Summer Reading Program 2026 (Children Ages 0-12)” challenge.

If you are signing up with the Beanstack app, please search for “Carnegie Library – South Region (PA)” and then select the “South Park Township Library: Summer Reading Program 2026 (Children Ages 0-12)” challenge.

*Patrons that tracked their Beanstack Summer Reading activities in 2023, 2024, or 2025 can continue to use their previously created Beanstack account for 2026 Summer Reading activities.

If you created a Beanstack account pre-2023 to track your Summer Reading activities and did not participate in the 2023, 2024, or 2025 Summer Reading Program activities on Beanstack you will need to create a new Beanstack account.
